I'm not sure where America stands inside the Eve universe. Either Amarr because slaves and religion, or Caldari because corporate interests.
From my thoughts, Gallente were the Americans. Gallente can be self righteous hypocritical pricks (lol sounds like America to me), who talk about democracy all the time and love their drugs. That's what I got from em.
Caldari without a doubt is Asian, leaning more towards Japanese culture.

The Caldari language derived from parts of the japanese language. Plus the Caldari mindset is definitely Japanese. Honor is everything to the Caldari. Pride as well. If 2 out of 6 people are sick in a Caldari village and they are without capable means of getting medical attention because they are stranded, those two will be left to die just to preserve the four. America does not think like nor is it culture is geared towards self sacrifice to save others. Then you have the corporations, which are so much similar to Japan's corporations.
The Way of the Winds and Ancestor worship also mimics the eastern culture. The Caldari worships their ancestors and look to them for guidance as well as believing in The Way of the Wind, which uses different winds for different purposes in life.
Even the Tea Maker ceremony is geared towards more eastern culture lifestyle. Now I'm going to give the short hand version but if you and I were in a heated argument and it couldn't be settled, we would have the Tea Maker ceremony where we would let "the gods" decide who is right or wrong. We would drink tea and whoever is wrong, would die. This is another resemblance to honor and ways of the Bushido, which is Japan culture.
I read up on the Caldari before selecting them to make sure I understood what my character represented.
